How to use
Steps to get a 2FA code and share accounts safely, in just a few seconds.
Get 2FA code
1. Get the 2FA secret
When you enable two-factor authentication for an account, you receive a string (the secret), usually like "BK5V TVQ7 D2RB...". Copy this string.
2. Paste it into the 2FA Secret box
On the home page, paste the secret into the "2FA Secret" field. The tool accepts both alphanumeric secrets and otpauth:// links.
3. Click "Get code"
The system instantly generates a 6-digit 2FA code and refreshes it every 30 seconds. A countdown shows the remaining time.
4. Copy and use
Click "Copy code" and paste it into the two-step verification field of the account you are logging into. Use the code while it is still valid.
Check IP
1. View your IP

Important tips & notes
- Always store your 2FA secret somewhere safe and never share it publicly.
- A 2FA code is only valid for 30 seconds — if it's about to expire, wait for a new one.
- Make sure your device clock is accurate, since TOTP codes depend on system time.
- Everything runs in your browser; no data is ever sent out.
- Temp mail addresses are disposable — don't use them for important accounts.
- Short links with custom aliases are easier to remember and share.
- Read Inbox works with Microsoft accounts using refresh tokens.
